I left my heart in San Francisco

Honestly! I did.

There was a consistent chilly breeze that tickled my face to numbness while I walked down Fisherman's Warf in San Francisco. Loved it! It was about 6:30 in the evening, and the sky was partly cloudy. Many interesting people walked along with us, but kinda scared me though cause some seemed really creepy... not gonna lie. hahaha My poor grandma was so tired from all that walking. So once we got to Hooters, she was sweating.
So as i walked in with my mom, brother, older cousin and his wife, i noticed that it was mostly guys. -_- well, what should i expect? It is Hooters and their ads, obviously, work--sex appeal!
Anyway, we were late but there was more than enough chicken to fill our grumbling stomaches. They were good! After a while, though, i started getting disgusted with myself and the food cause i ate hella chicken that seemed overly greased(?).

Highlight: This scene was so shocking to me. Their behavior was down right rude but then again... it was hilarious when it happened!
People:
AJ -- My nephew who graduated middle school and is now off to Westmoore HS
Chauncey -- AJ's cousin; my 8-11 yr old nephew [not sure of age] (i'm not a bad aunt at all)
Dot* -- Chauncey's Dad [*name changed]

Scene: At the table, AJ was entertaining his guests of 9, including me, by telling embarassing stories about his cousin, Chauncey. All of a sudden, Chauncey comes up behind AJ, licks his right palm and smacks it on AJ's face! Immediately, AJ smacks Chauncey right back! EVERYone at the table starts laughing--omg!
Aj's second reaction: "Uncle Dot*, Chauncey started it!"
Supressing a grin, Kuya Dot didn't do anything but look on with amusement. Because of his somewhat passive reaction, Chauncey took it as another initiative to do his lick-palm-and-wipe-on-Aj's-face again. This time on the other side of AJ's face. OMGD. It was so horrific yet so entertaining.

My family is so...different. They seem so random and animitated!
"Yellow belt? psh, i can get a yellow belt! Stick it in the washer and 'pssss'" -AJ (now that i think of it, i dont understand why this is so funny. haha)

Seriously:
Hooters waitresses. My mom finally noted that most of them were "young". And i'd have to agree. How can they actually work here? I saw men look at them lustfully; it was down right disturbing! So i tried not to look up because i felt like i was degrading their womanly dignity whenever i looked at them work. Dang, if Mr. Daniel's wanted to get hold of a prostitute to talk to his Social Justice class, why not just ask a Hooter's waitress? Now i'm not comparing the Hooter's waitresses to being prostitutes. But seriously, how could these women work in that kind of environment? Just curious.

I lOVE San Francisco! It wasn't foggy when we were walking back to the car. On our way, we stopped by the shops and i bought a shirt. I dont know, i just really enjoyed it. asldkfj just thinking about it makes me smile :] i just hope i get to do it again someday, this time with friends or a friend.

PS. "The reason why your driving sucks is because you have too much sugar. You need to excercise so that you won't get too sleepy too easily. If so, Your obese because thats how obese people are."
But other than that, wtf? 0_0 What does that have to do with driving? Just because it makes you sick, mom, doesn't mean you can go blaming dad's poor driving with some random excuse you throw at him once in a while. For instance, his bad diet, lack of excercise, being too sleepy all the time (omg, i just realized tht thats really disturbing), bad driving...
But then, Dad's driving during the whole traffic part of the trip was making me sick. Break--gas--break--gas--break--break! Omg! And on top of that was Mom's complaints and overly dramatic threats of throwing up.

Its a Start

Brother's Graduation today. woke up early and then off to stand in line to get seats. I have to admit though that my 6th grade graduation in 2004 (i believe?) was much more exciting and energetic than his. i was greatly disappointed by the students cause they weren't clapping or cheering for one another. Plus, they didn't even have music or announce that the kids were coming in!! But sa'll good because we got a good view of my brother so we were able to take pictures of him. hahaha

then ate at Red Lobster. I dont know, i've never liked it there. Their biscuits are good though! Thank god their free. hahaha

then went home for a bit, and i took a nap. Around 6, went to Applebees. :] yeah, Applebees and Macaroni Grill, those are the places where you'll find my family and i, usually. Anyway there was 14 of us. I sat with my nephews and brother. Then my Cousin irvine came. Overall, it was fun. i enjoyed their company. So many people were graduating that day! Apparently, all the milpitas elementary kids were graduating on the same day? No wonder the whole place was busy and packed!

Anyway, i was having a dilemma about my cousin's graduation and my brothers. I wanted to attend his at Fremont High School but i couldn't since i had to go my brother's little "reception" at Applebees. Thank God, after bugging my mother, she let me make it up to my cousin by going to his house along with my other cousins. I owe him so much of my time cause when he graduated 8th grade, Katrina (my cousin whose in Texas at the moment) and i were at Great America. blehh long story short, i really wanted to be there for my Cousin's grad ceremony.
graduation parties aren't over yet! i have 3 more to attend to i believe

hooters tomorrow! first time ever. ehhh, idk if i should be excited.

anyway, i'd like to share something that gave me the chills. once again, yahoo featured something interesting that caught my attention :]
wait, why a smilie face. it shold be 0_0

The Library

Yes, the Milpitas Library is great. Why? Because it's new and has a quiet area study zone, hidden and quite isolated. Nonetheless, teens have their own section and what not but Oh My "skinny"G'eans! They. dont. have. books. that complete. the damn. series. I. So. BADLY. want. to READ!! MAN. do you know how much that pissed me off? no, not pissed but pisses (me off)... it was such a great book and everything. hahaha
so here it goes.
went to the shelf. picked out a random book. looked at the cover. yes it was interesting. read it within a day or so. learned that it was the SECOND book of this trilogy thing. Also discovered that the library didn't have the 3rd book but said it had the 1st book. Went back to the library only to find out that they didnt have the 3rd OR the 1st.
and note, this wasn't the first time.

bleh. there goes my reading
but i'm excited for Yanna's books she's willing to lend me. yay! there goes my bright side

Cousins are coming! Cousins are coming! Excited? Yeah :]

Then there goes Driver's Ed? man, i dont know what to do. i seriously don't.

Senior classes? Theresa's been scaring me 'cause that girl is telling me all about her schedule change. Apparently, she's easily swayed by what her brother's telling her about hard classes she'll be taking. 0_0 man, i'd lie if i said her worries weren't getting to me...oh but they are!

dinner today. HAHAHA i choked on my water as i got up with my banana in hand. THANK GOD i didn't start choking in front of the table. that would have been a disaster! BAHAHAHA :D that was the highlight of my day. it was like i snorted up water, but i didn't, and choked on it at the same time. It also burned!

and yes, i'm still waiting for my summer to begin...i haven't had that "beginning-of-summer-set-off-by-a-grand-summer-day" yet.
